How to Measure

Use a soft tape and ask someone to help. Wear your intended undergarments, stand naturally and record one unit throughout: cm or inches.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level. This is not your bra size.

Natural waist

Measure around your natural waist. Breathe normally and do not pull the tape tight.

Hips

With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Hollow to floor

Barefoot, measure from the hollow between your collarbones straight down to the floor.

Also record your barefoot height and planned heel height separately. Do not add heel height to your barefoot measurements.

For sleeved gowns, complete the shoulder, armhole, arm length and upper-arm fields on the form. Short-style hem length is only needed when requested.

Fitting Guidance

Ballgown / A-line: pay particular attention to bust and waist, and provide your hip measurement as well.

Fitted / mermaid: compare bust, waist and hips with the chart for your chosen gown.

Measuring: use a soft tape, wear your intended undergarments and check measurements twice. Record barefoot hollow-to-floor and heel height separately.

Each gown is made to order. Gown sales are final for change of mind or fit, so please confirm your measurements and size before ordering.

Most gowns benefit from professional alterations. Alteration costs are not covered by Fiona Secret Closet.

Please inspect it as soon as it arrives. Report damage or an incorrect gown within 3 days of delivery with clear photos using our contact page.

Approved claims may receive up to $150 toward professional repair or corrective tailoring, with a receipt. Please contact us for approval before arranging repairs. This allowance does not cover routine fit alterations or limit remedies required by applicable law.
