Each gown is prepared in the original design, color and standard size selected at checkout. Please note: Custom design modifications, personalized alterations and tailoring services are not offered at this time.

Production & Delivery

Please allow approximately 5–6 weeks for production and preparation after payment and review of your complete measurements.

Once completed, your gown undergoes a final quality inspection by our team before dispatch. Standard U.S. shipping is estimated at 5 business days after dispatch.

Measurements

After payment, please submit your bust, waist, hips and wedding date on the Submit Your Bridal Measurements page, along with your order number.

Your measurements will be reviewed to help confirm your selected standard size. If you are unsure which size to choose, contact us before ordering. Measurements are used for size review; this is not a made-to-measure or tailoring service.

Use your body measurements to find the closest bridal size. Measurements below show centimeters (cm) / inches (in); inch values are rounded to one decimal place. This size guide is exclusively for bridal gowns and does not replace the size charts for ready-to-wear or Special Occasion dresses.

How to Measure

Ask someone to help and measure twice with a soft tailor’s tape. Wear your planned undergarments, stand naturally and breathe normally.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, with the tape level across your back and your arms relaxed. This is your body measurement, not your bra size. Keep the tape flat without compressing your bust.

Natural waist

Find your natural waist where your body creases when you bend sideways. Breathe normally and keep the tape snug without pulling it tight. Do not use your jeans waistband as the measuring point.

Hips

Stand with your feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape level all the way around. Do not measure too high.

Hollow to hem

Wear your planned wedding shoes. Measure from the hollow between your collarbones straight down the front to the floor. Exclude the train. Do not add heel height again.

Height & heel height

Record your barefoot height and planned shoe heel height separately. Do not add a heel allowance twice.

Hollow to hem and shoulder to ground are different measurements. Use the method specified for your gown; the supplier’s size chart labels its length as shoulder to ground.

Use one unit throughout: inches or centimetres. Wear the intended undergarments, stand naturally, and do not add your own sizing allowance.

After payment, submit your measurements with your order number. Production begins after complete measurements are reviewed.

Fitting Guidance

Standard gowns: Bust and waist are the most important measurements for upper corset fit.

Ball gown / A-line: Prioritize bust and waist; the fuller skirt allows more room around the hips.

Mermaid / sheath: Bust, waist and hips must all fit closely; hip length should also be checked.

Lace-up corset: Adjustable fit range of approximately 2–4 cm (0.8–1.6 inches), depending on the gown.

Bridal sizing reference: XS–XL. Plus-size measurements require separate confirmation. These are standard ranges, not a guarantee of fit. Verify your specific gown and measurements before production.

Most gowns benefit from professional alterations. Alteration costs are not covered by Fiona Secret Closet.

Inspection & order concerns

Your gown is carefully inspected by our team before shipping.

Please inspect it as soon as it arrives. Report damage or an incorrect gown within 3 days of delivery with clear photos using our contact page.

Approved claims may receive up to $150 toward professional repair or corrective tailoring, with a receipt. Please contact us for approval before arranging repairs. This allowance does not cover routine fit alterations or limit remedies required by applicable law.
